We spend the last day to pack our stuff and chill in our street. When the mid-afternoon comes, Tobias shares with me his wish to say a significant good-bye to Bangkok, and to Asia. For him, the best way would be to take a drink on a roof-top bar, enjoying a global view of the Mess. I've to admit at the right beginning after the Idea, I was kind of already in the tomorrow-morning-plane, I was not so convinced.
But thinking twice, I would have regret to skip this.

...
It's with a wonderful sunrise that our taxi arrives at the airport. It's a little bit after 5 am. Our bags are heavier than ever on our backs. I'm stressed, as it already happenned to me this year, I don't want miss this flight. But no worries, we're the first in the line to check-in !
We leave our luggages, smoke a last cigarette outside, pass the control, take a coffee and a chocolatine, smoke a last cigarette in the Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) smoking area, find our gate, wait... and we finally get in the plane.
The wheels run-up, faster, we look the far away high-rises through the round window, the wheels leave the Thai tarmac, we're flying.

We make a stopover in Delhi, India. Our next flight is only in less than two hours. We go slowly out the plane, and pass through different controls. The biggest one remembers me what I'm thinking about India... Which is just a feeling, I've never been there. We arrive in a huge room and an asshole-face military-dressed security officer asks us to go in two different lines. We first explain that we came together, so we stay together. But we understand that there's a line for men and another for women. We insist, and he lets us in the same line. What a ridiculous system.

In the second plane we realise that we're not next to eachother. We ask around us if we can somehow change place, but as we are both in the middle of different raws, people rather like stay at their more comfortable place. We understand, and when we stop to search, an Indian passenger calls a stewardess who helps us to find two seats. Once together again, we can enjoy our last flight, flying to Frankfurt Airport.
After an amazing movie (Eye in the Sky - I advise you to watch it), few minutes looking down on Earth to sight the colors of Afghanistan, some sleepy hours, a tendoori and jalfrezi, ... We land in Germany.
With warm welcome from Petra, we drive three and a half hour to the Lake of Constance.
We are back.
